Meet the Fashion Designer

Born and raised in Myanmar, Sang was influenced by cultural diversity and its rich textiles. She finally pursued her dream of becoming a fashion designer after years of altering and sewing clothes for her sister. Her strengths include making garment samples from sketches, using drape and pattern making, creating textiles with dyeing techniques, and creating flats in Adobe Illustrator.

Sang’s design philosophy is creating practical and elegant womenswear that is comfortable to wear. She enjoys doing surface embroidery, fabric manipulations such as smocking, and draping on the form; it is her goal to continue incorporating those techniques as key elements in her collections.
